Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a goods transporting system, in which goods to be transported successively while being superposed on each other with proper displacement from each other are divided into several groups to suit subsequent goods treating capacity, whereby it is enabled to save energy for goods transporting operation.
CONSTITUTION: Carrier belt 1 is divided into a first section, a second section and a third section to be stretched respectively between rollers 2 and 3, rollers 3 and 4, and rollers 4 and 5, and these three sections of carrier belt 1 are driven together by means of motor 6. Retainer belt 11 is stretched between rollers 12 and 13 and moved through the operation of hydraulic cylinder 14 from its operative position where it is held in contact with carrier belt 1 to its inoperative waiting position located upwardly of the operative position and vice versa. Under the state where goods are carried steadily, stopper 16 is located at its inoperative waiting position, but when instruction is given from control unit, it is moved to its operative position and stops goods at the top of belt 1. By thus stopping the top of batch of goods to be transported, goods can be divided while being pushed by hook 22, if number of the batches is smaller than a required number.
