Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain secure operation by generating an output only when the result of a complete scan differs from the last one.
CONSTITUTION: Keyboard 1 has keys arranged in a matrix and they are scanned in sequence. The states of each contact, "1" and "0", are written in RAM10. With key K depressed, a signal of "0" is led from its contact and "1" is written at a corresponding address in RAM. At this time, when the state of the last scan is "0", key K is considered to have been pushed and a strobe signal is generated, but when "1", chattering or a slow key stroke is considered to have been made and no strobe signal is generated. This circuit suits to a keyboard using contactless elements such as Hall IC for keys K.
