Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled plate with little stain, high sensitivity and superior printing element reproducibility by laminating a nonsilver photosensitive layer and a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. dispersed lipophilic resin fine particles on a support. CONSTITUTION:On a hydrophilic support a nonsilver photosensitive layer capable of forming a lipophilic image and contg. a diazo resin composition, an o-quinone diazide compound composition, etc. and a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer contg. no tanning developing agent are laminated to form photosensitive lithographic plate. At this time, about 0.01-10mu diametrical fine particles of a water insoluble lipophilic resin are dispersedly added to the nonsilver layer. The resin may be novolak type phenol resin or cresol resin having repeating units represented by the general formula (where Z is H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy or carboxyl).
