Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the dark viewing device of high amplifying sensitivity by providing liquid crystals to the imaging position of an image intensifier and projecting three-color light in synchronization with a three-color separating disc.
CONSTITUTION: The slight light image of the objective body 1 is imaged on the fiber plate 11 of an image intensifier 3 by way of a three-color separating disc 21 and is reached to a photoelectric face 7 by fibers 12. As a result of this, the photoelectrons corresponding to the light image fly out from the face 7 and arrive at mosaic electrodes 26 by being accelerated by an electrode 9. According to the change in the potential between the electrodes 26 and the electrodes 29 opposing thereto, the liquid crystals 27 between electrodes 26 and electrodes 29 are driven. On the other hand, the light source light from a light source 23 throgh the three-color separating disc 33 synchronized with the disc 21 is applied through a half mirror 24, reflecting mirror 25, etc. and the color display of the liquid crystals 27 is amplified color by color instantaneously. According to the adjustment of the quantity of light of the light source 23, the amplification degrees are controlled according to the attenuation amounts of the respective color filters 18W20 of the discs 21, 33, whereby the color drak viewing device of a high light amplification degree is provided.
