Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the generation of a false color signal due to the phenomenon of polarization by a half mirror in a color TV camera that leads part of incident light to an image pickup element, having a striped color filter arranged in front of a photoelectric conversion surface, by use of the half mirror. CONSTITUTION:Part 10 of incident light 8 is used by half mirror 2 for a single- lens view finder through zoom-lens part 1, and great part of the remainder, light 9, is led to image pickup tube 7 by way of lens 9, optical LPF5 providing double reflection, and striped color filter 6. When angle alpha formed by the incident surface of half mirror 2 and horizontal scanning direction (X axis) of image pickup tube 7 and viewed from the front of image pickup tube 7 is set to about 45 deg.+nX90 deg., e.g. 45 deg.C, an abnormal light component becomes equal to a normal light component in terms of double-reflecting plate 5 and the space frequency component of light led to image pickup tube 7 is zero at a space frequency, so that any false color signal will not be generated.
