Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow burrs to be produced on an injection side only and facilitate subsequent working, by providing commutator member holding projections on the inside surface of a molding jig, holding commutator members, thereafter setting the jig in a molding machine and injecting a molding material through a central member side. CONSTITUTION:Projections 13, which extend in an axial direction to hold commutator members 12 at equal intervals, are provided on the inside surface of a cylindrical part 12 which constitutes a molding jig 1. After the commutator members 2 are inserted in between the projections 13, the molding jig 1 is set in a molding machine comprising an upper and a lower cavities 35, 34 and an upper and a lower molding heads 36. After a bearing boss 2a is placed in the center, a molding material is injected through the central member side of the cylindrical part 12. According to this constitution, molding material burrs are produced on the injection side only. This results in facilitating working after molding.
