Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the selection for the desired character broadcast through one operation of the switch, by using the nonvolatile memory storing the designated address plus three units of switches. CONSTITUTION:The fixed TV designation code plus the character broadcast program designation code are stored previously into nonvolatile memory 20 and in the prescribed state. Then switch SC1 of memory address designating circuit 21 is turned on, and thus one address of memory 20 is designated by the output of address memory 23. Then writing switch 24 is turned on, and thus the designation code of TV14 channel plus the designation code of the character broadcast to be designated via switch SB1 are written into one address to be stored. After this, the designation code stored in that one address is read out in the form of codes MT and ML each by turning on switch SC1. Hereafter, the desired program is stored in addresses 2 and 3 each via switches SC2 and SC3, and these stored programs can be read out just by turning on the switch.
