Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a subject device which is equipped with a movable plate, controlling a flow resistance of an object to be kneaded, at the inside of an orifice mechanism secured on an outer circumference wall of an exhaust port, and which controls a wide range of temperature and a kneading degree according to types of materials to be kneaded. CONSTITUTION:A biaxial rotor 2, having a material-feeding screw 2a and a kneading vane 2b, is located in a mixing chamber 1 wherein a hopper 3 for feeding a material to be kneaded is positioned at one end and an exhaust port at the other, and an orifice mechanism 10 is mounted on an outer circumference wall of the exhaust port 4. The mechanism 10 consists of a circumference wall 11, which projects downward and whose whole is stationary, and a movable plate 12 in an oval cross section which changes a flow resistance and is pivotably supported by means of axis at the inside of the wall 11. A drive system of the movable plate 2 is constituted such that it can be operated manually by means of a screw-type operating lever 18 operated from the outside, the lever 18 being connected to the end of the axis in such a manner as to cause it to be installed screwedly and rockably to a fitting piece 19.
