Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a conversion loss by lessening radiation of an acoustic wave to the back surface of a polymer piezoelectric film, by providing a fixed additional layer on the back surface. CONSTITUTION:On the opposite surface to the side of the acoustic operation side of polymer piezoelectric film 11, namely, the back surface, fixed additional layer 12 is provided. This additional layer 12 is made of a material having many small pores evenly and its acoustic impedance is set smaller than that of polymer piezoelectric film 11. Further, additional layer 12 is provided to piezoelectric film 11 directly or via electrode 13 indirectly. As a result, leakage of an acoustic wave to the back surface can be prevented and a conversion loss can also be lessened.
