Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the time of the adjustment of convergence by providing the coarse adjusting function of making the coarse adjustment of the entire screen and the fine adjusting function of making the fine adjustment. CONSTITUTION:To make a coarse adjustment, a preset representative point, e.g., N1 is selected and a correction value is set in data reversible counter 2 and written in one-frame memory 17 and register 30. Next, the contents of register 30 are multiplied 31 by the coefficient of ROM32 to find representative points N2-N4, which are written in memory 17. Similarly, correction values of other representative points S1-, E1- and W1- are written in memory 17. Then, they are read out and after interpolated, D/A-converted 9 to output convergence siganals by way of LPF10. Thus, the coarse adjusting function is provided in addition to the fine adjusting function, so that the time of adjustment can be shortened.
