Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove the influence of the current induced in the deflection magnetic field by connecting the conductive bonding agent which airtightly seals both the surface plate and the opening end of an enclosure and network-shaped electrodes using lead pieces and supplying current to the network-shaped electrode through them. CONSTITUTION:The photoconductive surface plate frame body 4 is formed by coating both the transparent conductive film 2 and the photoconductive film 3 on the surface of the transparent surface plate 1. The signal electrode 20 penetrates outside the effective surface of the surface plate 1 and secured using the bonding agent 21. One end is connected to the transparent conductive film 2 and signals are taken out. The support electrode 6b of the network-shaped electrode 6 and the conductive bonding agent 13, which airtightly seals the surface plate 4 and the enclosure 5, are connected by lead pieces 22 and a current is supplied to the network-shaped electrode 6 through the metallic ring 14. Accordingly, the lead pieces 22 are outside the deflection magnetic field. As a result, the influence of the current induced by the deflection magnetic field can accurately be prevented and the ringing phenomenon can be eliminated.
