Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent blistering phenomenon which occurs during the baking process, by causing, after developing process, the fluorescent dots to be left for some period of time in a wet state before drying process is carried out when a fluorescent screen is formed on the inner surface of a face-plate.
CONSTITUTION: After the fluorescent dots are formed by exposure and development process, they are left in a wet state, for example, for about 5 minutes (1W10 minutes is suitable). Then, they are heated and dried at a predetermined temperature, and applied with a film agent fo form a film, and an aluminum film is deposited on it, and thereafter baking process is corried out. Thus, the blistering phenomenon which occurs during the baking process can be prevented.
