Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare high-quality coarse tea, in high efficiency, by comparing the preset tea leaf temperature with absolute humidity calculated from the measured tea leaf temperature and the drying air temperature, and controlling the hot air generator by the output of the comparator.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature of the tea leaf in a tea processor measured with a wet-bulb thermometer 2, and the temperature of supplied hot air measured with a dry-bulb thermometer 1, are inputted through transmitters 4 and 3 to an operational circuit 5 to calculate the relative humidity, which is inputted to the next operational circuit 7. On the other hand, the signal from the transmitter 3 is inputted to a signal transmitter 6, from which a signal proportional to the saturated vapor pressure at the temperature is transmitted to the circuit 7 to calculate the absolute humidity. The output of the circuit 7 is indicated by an indicator 9, and at the same time, inputted through a signal transducer 10 to a comparator 12, in which it is compared with the signal from a tea leaf temperature preset circuit 11. The output of the comparator 12 is inputted to a fuel valve controlling circuit 13 to control the opening of a fuel valve 14 according to the signal from the circuit 12, thereby generating hot air having desired temperature.
