Abstract

PURPOSE: To heighten the accuracy of measurement with a small-sized device, by transmitting information by ultrasonic waves, and by obtaining depth information without using a pressure sensor by utilizing the Doppler effect.
CONSTITUTION: Signals S7 received by means of an ultrasonic-wave receiver 16 are amplified and wave-form shaped and changed into signals S8, drive a single-stabilizing multivibrator 19 in the rise of the pulses and put out pulse signals S9 with width longer than the pulse width. An AND circuit 20 counts the AND of the signals S8, S9 and extracts signals S9 with temperature information. A single-stabilizing multivibrator 21 puts out pulse signals S11 with width narrower than the width of the signals S10 in the rise of the pulses of the signals S10, and an AND circuit 22 counts the AND of the signals S8, S11 and extracts signals S12 that do not contain temperature information.
