Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain good stableness and accuracy in controlling branched water quantity from remote controlling location ensured in the system wherein programmed quantity of water is branched from open channel or closed channel.
CONSTITUTION: Branch pipe 2 from an open channel 1 is connected to the reservoir 3 located in downstream, and outlet port 2a is provided in the manner such that water flows out uniformly to all directions. At the reservoir 3, measuring weir 4 is provided. Float 6 provided on the surface is to be operated thru the connecting rod 8, the other end thereof is jointed with horizontal lid plate 7 located at the bottom of the outlet port 2a. Above the float 6, motor M is established which adjusts the opening volume of the outlet port 2a by operating the lid 7 thru the rod 8. In addition, water depth detector 9 equipped with variable resistor is provided which detects the actual volume of branched water by measuring the quantity of water actually overflows over the weir 4. Operation of the motor M is controlled in the manner that the outputted value of the detector 9 agrees with the prescribed value.
