Abstract

PURPOSE:To use only one oscillator to generate a 2-tone signal, by controlling the oscillator by the output signal of a frequency divider, which divides the output signal of the oscillator, to generate the 2-tone signal. CONSTITUTION:Oscillator 21 constitutes a variable frequency oscillator, and capacitors 22 and 23 which are oscillating elements of it are switched by switch 24 and are so constituted that one of them may be connected to oscillator 21. Frequency divider 25 divides the output signal of oscillator 21 by fixed frequency division ratio 1/N and applies output signal f3 to switch 24 as a control signal. Switch 24 switches capacitors 22 and 23 and connects them to oscillator 21 laternately according to the control signal given from frequency divider 25, thus generating the 2-tone signal.
