Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the ratio of object light and reference light adequately and obtain good quality holograms by finely adjusting the position and angle of the laser light incident to a diffusion plate.
CONSTITUTION: A diffusion plate 14 consists of, for example, ground glass and the light 2 from a laser 1 is diffused by this diffusion plate 14. Part of the diffused light 15 is radiated by a total reflecting mirror 16 and the other portion of the diffused light 15 is applied to an object 17. The scattered light 18 from the object 17 is radiated to the film plane 10. Since these optical systems consist only of the diffusion plate 14 placed on a vibration-absorbing table 18, total reflection mirror 16 and a film holder holding the film 10 the optical path adjustment of the holography apparatus becomes easy.
