Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of light measurement for the liquid suspension by lessening the effect on the light measurement by the vortex directly generated from the stirring mechanism with a partition provided between the stirring and light measuring sections in the cell. CONSTITUTION:A partition 3 is provided between the stirring and light measuring sections in the cell body 1. It is preferable that the sample can move from the stirring section to the light measuring section and vice versa over or under the partition 3. It is also possible that a rectifying plate 5 is provided with the partition 3 to allow the rectifying of the vortex directly generated from the stirring mechanism.
