Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable sharp recording to be achieved with a small energy by preventing dispersion of electric current in such a manner as to electrify a mutually isolated belt-like electroconductive layer by a needle-like electrode. CONSTITUTION:An electric current signal from a power source 7 is electrified to an electroconductive layer 1 by a needle-like electrode 6, heat is generated at a section between electrodes to melt wax in an ink layer, and record is transcribed onto an ordinary paper 5 facing the ink layer. Further, the needle-like electrode shifts in the direction of a belt-like electrode 8 and conducts recording. Since plural number of mutually isolated belt-like electrodes 1 are provided and electrification between them is done by using the needle-like electrode 6, dispersion of electric current is prevent improving heat efficiency. And it is possible, without preheating a recording paper 5, to achieve sharp recording of fire image with such a small energy as 1/4 of the conventional.
