Abstract
PURPOSE:To fix color depth by detecting electric voltage or current at power source and in response to its output controlling the time of supply to the heat sensitive recording head. CONSTITUTION:Picture signal 11 to be recorded is imput into disposition of exothermic resistance elements of thermal head 12 in time series. One end of the secondary winding of transformer 19 for transforming commercial alternating current source is connected to a source terminal 2 of the thermal head 12. For detecting voltage of source terminal 12, voltage detecting circuit 23 is mounted and control picture signal 11 and clock 13 by the output of the detecting circuit 23. Whereby, time of supply is controlled in response to change of the source voltage and the color depth is fixed in spite of change of source voltage.
