Abstract

PURPOSE:To make one converter available for connection and thus to miniaturize a reactor by controlling specifically a gate for 3 unit inverters through which direct current is converted to alternating current. CONSTITUTION:Reactors 18, 19 are connected to a positive side and a negative side of 3 unit inverters 1, 2, 3 through which direct current is converted to alternating current. A gate pulse is controlled as illustrated for example, and the commutating orders are arranged as 1-3-2 for inverter 1, 2-1-3 for inverter 2 and 3-2-1 for inverter 3. Now, a reactor voltage becomes zero on an average in one cycle of output wave form, and even where the converter comes in one set, a current of each unit inverter can be balanced.
