Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain high accuracy in mass production of panels and obtain uniform accuracy on the whole products by cutting the scale marks on the image forming surface of a Braun jar mold and pressing a gob onto the surface, forming the scale marks for observation in convex form on the inner surface of the molded panel. CONSTITUTION:Onto the image forming surface 2 of a Braun jar mold 1, the scale marks for observation such as standard lines 3, 3', and scale marks 4, 4,..., 4', 4'... having prescribed width and prescribed depth are cut through proper machine cutting under NC control. Using the Braun jar mold 1 having the scale marks previously cut, the metal mold 7 having the bottom mold 6, and the body mold 5 for synchoscope panel forming are united in a set, and gob 8 is supplied to the bottom mold 6 by a prescribed amount and pressed by applying pressure by a prescribed value onto the Braun jar mold 1. Thus, simultaneously with panel forming, the formation of the scale marks for observation which are convex on the image surface can be obtained with unifrom accuracy.
