Abstract
PURPOSE: To emit an alarm through detection of surging or other of a fluid machine, facilitate its maintenance and enhance its reliability by detecting the internal pressure fluctuations of the fluid machine, fetching them out as electric signals, and branching these electric signals.
CONSTITUTION: The pressure fluctuations produced in a fluid machine 1 such as compressor or blower are detected as electic signals by a pressure detector 2. After the signals are amplified, they are branched to two ways, the one being inputted to an arithmetic part 6 through a polarity converter 5 and the other to the arithmetic part 6 through a selective amplifier 7, respectively. The output of the arithmetic part 6 is sent to an indicating alarm meter 8 and when its indication value exceeds the preset value, an alarm output 9 is produced from the indicating alarm meter 8 and is sent to an alarm device 10, from which an alarm sound is emitted.
