Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a highly smooth and crack-free raw sheet, by using a slip obtained as a result of agitating and blending, with a solvent, of a mixture prepared by adding to the lead type piezoelectric material a binding agent, a plastic agent, a dispersing agent and a moistening agent, which are all organic ingredients. CONSTITUTION:The slip is prepared by adding to the lead type piezoelectric material having average particle size (diameter) of 1.0mum or less a binding agent, a plastic agent and a dispersing agent which are organic ingredients, also by adding thereto further polyethylene glycol as a moistening agent, and they by agitating and mixing thoroughly thus prepared mixture using an organic solvent. Now, thus prepared slip is formed into a high-density, high-smoothness and crack-free raw sheet of a desired thickness between 0.5mm. and 2.0mm. by doctor blade method. Further, in this case, it is desirable to add these organic ingredients to the piezoelectric material at such rates and such ranges as 3.0-5.0wt% of binding agent, 0.1- 3.0wt% of plastic agent, 1.0-2.0wt% of dispersing agent and 3.0-4.0wt% of moistening agent.
