Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of performance of a composite yoke for a rotary electric machine due to crack of a magnet and also prevent malfuction of the machine by inserting a magnet cover of predetermined shape into a yoke and arranging a magnet at predetermined position between the yoke and the magnet cover. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined jig is press-fitted into a yoke 1 in a magnet cover 5 made of aluminum or the like. A plurality of, for example, 4 pieces of magnets 3 are inserted between the magnet cover 5 and the yoke 1 with a predetermined jig, the portion not inserted with the magnet of the magnet cover 5 is wiped to form a wiped portion 5b so as to position the magnet 3. After preheating the magnet 3, an adhesive 2 is dripped onto the periphery of the magnet 3 to fixedly secure the magnet cover 5, the yoke 1 and the magnet 3 together, and heat to dry them so as to obtain a composite yoke for the electric machine.
