Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easy the alignment of paper, by operating the servo amplifier so that it can correct the error of an up and down counter.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor 30 has a pair of light emitting element and photodetecting element respectively two sets of slits with the phase difference of 90° and detects the rotary angle of an encoder disc 20 and the direction of rotation. A sensor amplifier 80 wave-shapes the output of the sensor 30 and feeds the result to a printer drive circuit 100. A switch circuit 13 feeds UP ADJUST signal to an up down counter 16 in a servo motor 1 when the switch is depressed to advance the servo motor 1 toward feeding direction. The switch circuit 14 turns the motor 1 similarly but toward reverse direction. Further, a PWM circuit in the circuit 100 converts the counter output into pulse width according to the count value of the counter, that is, the shift of rotary angle. The servo motor drive current is controlled so that the servo amplifier 110 can correct this signal.
