Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the anti-fogging effect and the durability of a title glass by a method wherein an electronic ray-curable type transparent lacquer is thinly coated to at least one surface of a glass and said coating is irradiated by an electronic ray to be integrally and closely adhered and cured.
CONSTITUTION: To one or both surfaces of a plate glass 1, an electronic ray- curable type lacquer compounded with 1,4-butenediol diacrylate, polyester acrylate, monoacrylate, tetraethylene glycol diacrylate or the like is coated to form a membrane 2. This glass is conveyed into an inert atmosphere and an electronic ray is irradiated to the coated membrane to cure and closely adhered said membrane to the glass 1 integrally. In this case, an electronic ray is irradiated from one side to the glass 1 when one side is coated and from both sides when both surfaces are coated so as to cure uniformly.
