When electron beams are incident on the surface of the anticathode periphery 15 from the cathode 4, electron bombardment is applied, and x-rays are generated, the surface of the anticathode periphery 14 is heated to high temperatures. This heat evaporates the heat transport liquid 16 and cools the anticathode periphery 15.
