Abstract

PURPOSE: The title rebosome pharmaceutical preparation having a high strength of wall membrane and improved prolonged release of an active substance, containing an active substance in its vacuole, obtained by forming the wall membrane wherein a specific amount of oily substance molecules exist in the bimolecular layer of phospholipid.
CONSTITUTION: A wall membrane, wherein 3W20wt%, preferably 5W15wt% of oily substance molecules existin the bimolecular layer of phosphlipid, e.g., Lecithin, is formed and contains an active substance in its vacuole. The oily substance is one compound selected from the group consisting of mineral oil, wax, triglyceride, or their mixture. The ribosome has a complex emulsion form of water in oil in water type (W/O/O type), and more improved retention ability of the active substance than conventional phospholipid micell type emulsion. The ribosome is suitable as a protective for a drug unstable in the living body or one having side effect and useful as a medicine.
