Abstract
PURPOSE:To expand an operating range, by lowering number of steps of stepped wave current supplied to load in a region higher in number than a prescribed upper- limit frequency where stable operation can be achieved as a multiple system formed by connecting current type inverter with each other in parallel. CONSTITUTION:A logic circuit 455 for gate signal generation of parallel operation is provided on a gate control circuit 45 of a dual type inverter formed by connecting current type inverters with each other in parallel. Further, by being provided with a signal selecting circuit 456 capable of selecting this circuit or a logic circuit 454 for generation of multiple operation gate signal and also with a comparison circuit 457 capable of detecting upper-limit frequency of output of a frequency commanding circuit 451, it is made capable of executing simultaneous conversion by selecting parallel operation at a value above the upper-limit value. By doing so, it is possible to reduce number of multiple steps of U-phase current of a load 42 as depicted in the sketch at the time of parallel operation so that number of the steps becomes equal to that of the current type inverter.
