Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the reliability of control signal discrimination and to ensure the phase lock, by taking longer the phase signal transmission period, transmitting the line density control signal during this period and leaving the carrier components.
CONSTITUTION: The signal of one line's share from the scanner 4 is alternately stored in the shift registers 5, 6 with the switch 9. When the readout of the register 5 is made, the video signal of the register 6 is input to the line density discrimination circuit 7, the presence of black information is discriminated, the result is input to the control circuit 8 and stored. After the end of readout of the register 5, the control signal reading out the video signal from the register 6 shorter in case of the absence of black information and longer with the presence, is transmitted to the reception side. Thus, the circuit 8 controls the clocks 11, 12, changes the frequency and sets the readout time and the video signal is output via the modulation circuit 13.
