Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily switch the polarized plane, by arranging the polarized planes of a plurality of antenna in orthogonal manners and adding the variable phase shifter between antennas. CONSTITUTION:The transmission power is equally distributed with the hybrids 5, 6, 7, 8 and it is input to the antennas 11-14 of which polarized planes are orthogonal. The variable phase shifter is provided between the hybrids 7, 8 and the antennas 11, 13. Taking the extent of phase shift as 0 degree, the amplitude and phase at the terminals 1-4 are respectively 0 deg., 1, -90 deg., 1/2, -90 deg., -j1/2, -90 deg., -j1/2. When horizontal polarized wave EH is given to the antennas 11, 13 and vertical polarized wave EV is to the antennas 12, 14, right rotation polarized wave is obtained. Left rotation, horizontal and vertical polarized waves can easily be obtained in similar ways.
