Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a urea composition having an improved thermal stability, by preventing its supercooling by mixing potassium chloride, ammonium chloride, or sebacic acid with urea.
CONSTITUTION: At least one of potassium chloride, ammonium chloride, and sebacic acid is added to urea, whereby raising the performance of the urea as a heat- storing material. Because the urea has a high heat-storing density because of its melting point of 132°C and also its latent heat of 258KJ/kg, but has defects such that supercooling occurs at the time of heat radiation (coagulation), the coagulation is incidental, heat radiation is uncontrollable, fused liquid is decomposable, and thermal stability is low, the above treatment improves on the heat-storing performance of the urea.
