Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the adaptability, fatigue durability, abrasion resisting property or sliding property, by carrying out pressure welding of middle layer composed of Al-low Sn base alloy or no Sn contained Al alloy containing each specific amount of Sn.Cr with steel plate and forming metal spray layer composed of limited quantity of Pb and Al on the above layer. CONSTITUTION:The middle layer 2 composed of Al-low Sn base alloy containing Sn<=10%, preferably 3-10% and Cr; 0.1-1% or no Sn contained Al alloy, is pressure welded on the steel plate 1. Next, the metal spray layer 3 composed of Pb;5-40%, Al; balance, is formed on the layer 2 so as the thickness to be 0.01- 0.15mm. The above composite sliding material is used for bearing of vehicle engine or various kinds of sliding materials availably.
