Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable mass production of uniform products in manufacturing a wrist watch case by employing electrolytic machining technique to reduce the number of manufacturing steps.
CONSTITUTION: When an electrolytic machining is executed with the base material 1 of a mass production tool electrode as an anode and seed electrode 2 (dummy sample) as a cathode, the configuration of the electrode 2 is transferred at 4 to the base material 1. This transferred base material is used as mass production tool electrode 4 on the surface side of the side case. Similarly, mass production tool electrode 5 for the back surface side of the side case is manufactured, these electrodes are additionally machined to fabricate mass production tool electrodes 4', 5'. When an electrolytic machining is executed with the electrodes, 4', 5' are cathode and the base material 6 as an anode, the configuration is transferred to the base material 6 to form a wrist watch side case.
