Abstract

PURPOSE: To instantaneously get to know an accurate temperature, by digitally converting an infrared image signal of one frame, storing the digitally converted signal in a memory, repeatedly reading out the stored signal of one frame from the memory and indicating the readout signal on a cathode-ray tube display unit.
CONSTITUTION: A digitally-converted infrared image signal VDO of one frame is stored in an image memory 12. The stored signal is repeatedly read out from the memory by a control circuit 3 in accordance with scanning of a display unit. The readout digital signal VDO is once loaded in a buffer register 13 and then transferred to a digital-analogue converter 15 through a changeover unit 14 at timing instructed by the control circuit 3. The converter 15 changes the signal into an analogue infrared image signal, which is conducted from an output unit 16 to the display unit. In the output unit, a horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signals HD, VD or the like are added to the analogue infrared image signals so that the combined image signal compatible with the NTSC system is supplied as an output OUT.
