Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a miniaturized and inexpensive oxygen manufacturing process capable of preferentially adsorbing oxygen by using as a selective oxygen sdsorbent an Na-K-A-type zeolite whose Na component is partially exchanged with K.
CONSTITUTION: An exchangeable Na component of A-type zeolite of Na-exchange type is partilly exchanged with K to obtain an Na-K-A-type zeolite. The Na-K-A- type zeolite thus obtained, having the power to refuge the adsorption of nitrogen but to adsorb oxygen selectively in a binary oxygen-nitrogen system, e.g., air, can be employed in the oxygen concentration by molecular sieve, etc., and also permits the miniaturization and cost reduction of the manufacturing process of oxygen.
