Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce oxygen with small equipment at a low cost by using the Na-A type zeolite prepd. by dissolving Fe as an oxygen selective adsorbent from oxygen and nitrogen mixed gases.
CONSTITUTION: After bivalent or more iron is allowed to contact substantially pure Na-A type zeolite in a wet state and is heat-treated, Fe is dissolved with Na-A type geolite crystals, thereby preparing an oxygen selective adsorbent. Since this adsorbent has higher selectivity and provides a high rate of oxygen adsorption with single component, it permits production of oxygen from oxygen and nitrogen mixed gases such as air with small-sized equipment at a low cost.
