Abstract
PURPOSE:To apply the switch automatically at the reception side and to enable to receive emergency broadcast, by the broadcast of the emergency broadcast identifying signal representing the emergency broadcast at the start of emergency radio broadcast together with the emergency broadcast signal. CONSTITUTION:The band pass filter 26 and the mixing circuit 25 are connected between the terminals t1 and t2 at the program signal 10. On the other hand, the oscillator 23 transmitting the emergency broadcast identifying signal 11 grounded via the switches 21, 22 and the oscillator 24 transmitting the emergency broadcast end signal 12 are connected to the circuit 25. The switches 21, 22 are closed normally and grounded, but before a given time at the start of emergency broadcast, the switch 21 is open and the switch 22 is open after the end. The filter 26 eliminates the frequency of the signals 11, 12 in the signal 10 and the signals 11, 12 are superimposed on the circuit 25 without adverse effect. At the reception side, the signals 11, 12 are detected with separation, the switch of the receiver is automatically closed with this detection, enabling to receive the emergency broadcast at an arbitrary time easily.
