Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the positional shift of trigger electrode and also the loosening of wire by the procedure in which coupling potions, e.g., expanded portion, projection, concavity, etc., are formed on the periphery of a tubular bulb and a part of trigger electrode is coupled with the coupling portion. CONSTITUTION:In the inside of the tubular bulb 1, a tiered expanded portion is formed from the internal electrodes 21 and 22 portions to the central part, in which the tiered expanded portion is in a slant ring form, and also the trigger electrodes 51 and 52 are in a slant ring form matching the tiered expanded portion. The trigger electrodes 51 and 52, having such a slant ring form, can be coupled with the expanded tier of the tubular bulb 1 and also with the outer surface of the small diameter tube of the electrode portion. The trigger electrodes are fitted on the tubular bulb 1 and each end of the wire 6 wound around the tubular bulb 1 is connected to the electrodes 51 and 52, permitting the trigger electrodes and the wire to be positioned always in place of the bulb.
