Abstract

PURPOSE: To expand a near distance photographing range by forming the side wall of the near distance side of the notched part to cam form in the notched part which defines the rotating angle of a stopper pin rotating about the optical axis according to focal length operations.
CONSTITUTION: When an operating ring 23 is moved forward and backward in the axial direction, the 2nd movable lens group 2 is moved togehter with a movable frame 4 by way of a guide pin 25 and groove 23 as well as a pin 16 and oblique groove 8a, whereby zooming is accomplished. Next, when the operating ring 23 is turned, the groove 23 drives a stopper pin 22 which in turn rotates a lens frame 21 and helcoid 5, by which the 1st lens group 1 is moved forward and backward and focusing is thus accomplished. At this time, a rectilinear frame 24 is moved by the guide pin 25 and groove 23b and the relative position of the stopper pin 22 changes on the wide angle side (W) and telephoto side (T). This causes the rotating angle of the stopper pin 22 from the horizontal side wall 24a' to the cam side wall 24a" in the notched part to change, thus the rotating angle larger than that on the W side is obtained on the T side and the near distance photographing range is expanded.
