Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable harmbul light to be well shielded in a wide range from wide angles to telephoto in a zoom lens having a diaphragm which shields harmful light behind the rear part lens group by so constituting that this diaphragm is moved in follow up to the movement of the rear part lens group.
CONSTITUTION: As a zoom ring 4 is rotated, a front part lens group 2 and rear part lens group 3 move in the optical axis direction, thereby changing the focal length. At this time, the arm 6 integral with the frame body 5 of the rear part lens group 3 also moves in the optical axis direction. If it is assumed that this moving direction is the right direction of an arrow, a diaphragm means 9 tries to rotate in the arrow (a) direction because the pin 8 of the arm 6 is held fitted in the groove 10 of the diaphragm means 9. On the other hand, the pin 14 of the diaphragm means 9 is held fitted in the groove 15 of a rear cover 13; therefore, the diaphragm means 9 provided with a diaphragm moves and comes to the position where it well shields flare. Thereby, the harmful light of all the range from wide angles to telephoto is well shielded and the images of good quality is given.
