Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a confortable control of air conditioning by a method wherein a desired temperature is set in a variable tolerance range and a humidity which may be determined under a relation between the temperature and humidity satisfying comfortable condition in a range of this temperature is set under a proper variable tolerance.
CONSTITUTION: Temperature and humidity control device THC is connected to the main body of air conditioning machine ACM, both a temperature sensor TD compsed of a thermistor etc. having a characteristic of negative resistance and a humidity sensor HD composed of a chlorolithium etc. are connected to THC. The desired setting temperature in the room to be adjusted is set in THC with a proper variable tolerance range, and a humidity under such a temperature/humidity relation fulfilling the confortable comdition in this range of temperature is set under a proper variable telorance range. A temperature is controlled in advance in response to a direction of gradient of variation in temperature in the room and thus a humidity is controlled later so as to perform an alternative operation of cooling and dehumidiying of ACM or an alternative operation of air blowing and dehumidifying.
