Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent invasion of water that causes forming of rust by contacting the inserting ports of the container flange fastening member by a groove and charging filler agent in the gap between the flange and the fastening member inserted into each port. CONSTITUTION:Fastening member inserting ports 6 are arranged at equal spaces on the circumference of the container flange 3 and a groove 21 with a width larger than the diameter of the inserting port 6 is concentrically provided on the engaging surface side along the inserting ports 6. Then, an injection port 23 of which top end is opened into the groove 21 is made in an appropriate bolt 7 and the filler agent 22 in the fluid condition is injected by pressure through the injection port. By doing so, the filler agent 22 flows along the groove 21 as shown by the arrow to fill the gap between the groove 21, the container flange 3, and the bolt 7. Being thus constituted, the work is completed by inserting, for instance, a machine screw into the head part 23a of the injection port 23. By this operation, water invasion can be prevented.
