Abstract

PURPOSE: To reform liquid fuel so that, when the fuel is fed to an internal combustion engine, a boiler or the like, it can be divided into fine particles at the time of spraying or carburetion, and it can be perfectly burned, by applying ultrasonic wave and a voltage to the fuel while passing the fuel through a magnetic field of permanent magnets.
CONSTITUTION: 1 is a magnetic oscillator and as the oscillator, one having a Curie point higher than 300°C is used. 2 is permanent magnets, and when a voltage 3 is applied, the magnets change in electric charge to minus. A slit 4 between the two magnets is narrowed so that a strong magnetic field can be applied to the liquid fuel. The distance between the magnetic osicllator 1 and the slit 4 is maintained at a certain length so that, in the slit 4, complicated movement may result from the action of forwardly flowing ultrasonic wave stream upon the flow movement of lines of magnetic force and thereby the charging action may be promoted. By irradiating impurities contained in fuel with ultrasonic wave, the sludge can be dispersed in a finely divided form, and by passing fuel through the field resulting from an electric field and a magnetic field, the fuel can be reformed into finely divided charged particles and the efficiency of fuel can be improved.
