Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to inhibit electric power from being supplied again for a prescribed time after power off, by detecting the discharging voltage of the capacitor of a time constant circuit. CONSTITUTION:Capacitor 46 of time constant circuit 36 is charged up to a prescribed voltage by the turning-on output of comparator 34 which is turned on and off by detection of presence and absence of an input signal, and capacitor 46 starts discharging through resistance 47 with generation of the tuning-off output as a base point. A voltage check circuit and a voltage comparator are provided in control logic 38, and restart of load 39 is inhibited during the time when the voltage of the capacitor drops down to the set voltage of the voltage comparator. At a power on time, the residual voltage of time constant circuit 36 is checked; and if the residual voltage is higher than the set voltage, start of the load is inhibited independently of the output state of comparator 34 for a prescribed time when the residual voltage is discharged. Thus, a timer can be obtained which is adapted for temperature control in a cooler and so on using a compressor.
