Abstract

PURPOSE: To transfer heat by shifting a heated thermal medium in the heating part to the cooler that is located under the heating part without an external mechanical driving force.
CONSTITUTION: The descending and ascending passages C, D, which connects the heating part A to the cooling part B, for the thermal medium have bends respectively so that the intermediate parts P, P' of the passages may be located above the heat-transfer pipes 1, 1' of the heating part. The thermal medium F heated in the heating part A flows down along the passage C through the check valve E-1 and shifts to the cooling part B. Simultaneously the thermal medium F cooled in the cooling part B rises along the passage D through the check valve E-2, reaches the heating part A and is reheated there.
