Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable monostable operation of an armature provided in a gap of U- shaped yokes in a polarized electromagnet device by mounting the yokes on both surfaces of a rectangular permanent magnet while facing oppositely north and south poles thereof and forming a cutout at the end of the armature. CONSTITUTION:U-shaped yokes 4 and 5 are secured at their bodies to the side surfaces facing oppositely of a rectangular permanent magnet 1 while retaining the U-shaped magnetic pole 2 as a south pole and the magnetic pole 3 as a north pole. When an armature 6 having substantially the same length as the magnet 1 is inserted into the gap between the poles 2 and 3, the armature 6 is composed as below. That is, a coil 8 is wound on the armature 6, the central portion of the armature is supported rockably by a shaft 7, and cutouts 9 facing oppositely each other are formed in opposite position at the poles 2 and 3 at both ends thereof. Thus, the attracting stregnths at the ends of the armature 6 become equal, and they can be readily assembled.
