Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the intermixture of suspended dust in an atomized liquid being used by a spray coater of a structure in which an atomizing portion can be separated from respective introducing portions for compressed gas and compressed liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The body 1 of a spray coater is fastened to a spray chamber, a liquid container 2 is connected with a compressed gas pipe 3, and an atomizing portion 4 is airtightly connected with a connection tool. When not in use, the atomizing portion 4, forming a narrow path, is separated from respective introducing portions 7 and 8 for compressed gas and compressed liquid and immersed in a cleaning liquid. Thus, the coating of adhesives with a high accuracy can be attained without the intermixture of fine dust in the liquid being sprayed.
