Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism, by enabling to set the play mode and stop mode with the loading attitude of cassette. CONSTITUTION:The first-third cassette position set pins 28, 30, 34 are fixed to the chassis 22, the switch pin 76 is reciprocatably mounted, and the moving plate 52 fixing a piar of pinch rollers 46, 48 and magnetic head 50 is movable up and down via the frist and second arms 56, 64 by means of the plunger 72. Thus, when the cassette 10 is loaded to the chassis 22 parallelly, the switch pin 76 is pushed to lift up the moving plate 52, and the pinch rollers 46, 48 and magnetic head 50 are pressed to the recording tape in the cassette 10.
